Even though I don't currently have a pet living with me (my 2 dogs live at my mom's house), one of my favorite sources of information on all things pet or animal related is The Humane Society of The United States website. If you're thinking about getting a pet or if you already have one, this site offers a massive amount of wonderful info to help you out. But what this post is really about is to remind you all about one very important pet care tip:

NEVER NEVER NEVER LEAVE YOUR PET IN A PARKED CAR!

Wouldn't you rather have years of fun & companionship with your happy & healthy pet instead of taking Spot on a potential tragic trip to the grocery store? It's not like he's gonna help you with the bags or anything. So please, please leave the him at home so that he can greet you with crazy delight at the door and rummage through the bags with his nose while your trying to put everything away... because that is the kind of memory you'll want to keep with you forever.
