alright enough about bush... in some happier national news, The Simpsons have been renewed through 2005. this is clearly important news as even CNN wrote up a big ol' article about it.

ahhh, if only dreams came true... there is about as much chance of that happening as there is this.

My friend Sage (and employer) read an interesting article yesterday about our unfortunate president's new economic stimulus proposal. I wish I had the link to it but I don't so here's what I learned... Bush's plan will only benefit the top 1% of americans - that would be the reallllllly reallllly rich people - but 20% of people think that they are in the top 1% and an additional 19% believe that they will one day be in the top 1%. So I thought I'd clear this up for all you all... you are in the top 1% ONLY if your annual income is $376,000 or more. In fact, apparently the top 20% is only making over $72,000 which would thus mean that 80% of working americans are making less than $72,000... that's kinda sad.
