I can't get the new Britney Spear's single, Toxic, out of my head... seriously. It's been living there for 3 days now. Sometimes it gets replaced by Outkast's Hey Ya but never for very long.

Just thought I'd share.

No, not Bennifer! They seemed so happy!

Ben, Jen Over

Hehehe... it would have been funnier if they'd gotten married first.

I was going to be a "good" american and watch the President's speech last night but it was on opposite America's Next Top Model and there was no contest. I'll take reality over fiction any day...

I found this fun meme last week and just didn't have time to do it. So here it is:

What is the middle name of the first person you ever slept with?
J? I really have no idea what it stood for or if the J even had anything to do with his middle name... Junior? Joseph? Jackass?

What kind of underwear are you wearing and what color?
Brand: Swell
Color: Yellow

What is the song you want played at your funeral?
To Where You Are - Josh Groban

What would your last meal be before getting executed?
I'm anti-death penalty and a pacifist - why the hell am I getting executed?

Beatles or Stones?
Beatles

If you had to pick one person on earth who should die, who would it be?
This is a rather mean question and I'm not a fan of wishing death on people so -nobody.

The person whose problems you would never want to hear again?
Mine

What is the thing most important to you (as far as physical) about the preferred sex?
Must be taller than me - and what I mean by that is at least 2 inches taller than me when I'm wearing 4 inch heels.

Do you secretly hate some of your friendsters but are too nice to reject them?
I don't have any friendsters, thank you.

If you could have any super power what would it be?
I feel I've answered this before... but hey maybe I'll try something new. I'd like Wonder Woman's lasso of truth, which I suppose isn't a super power as much as a super powered weapon?? So, I'll go with flying.

Favorite hangover cure?
Sleeping.

How many drinks does it take to get you drunk?
40 proof or less - 5
80 proof -2.5
100 proof - Let's just say that I don't drink 100 proof anymore for VERY good reasons.

Favorite Outkast lyric?
"Shake it like a polaroid picture"

Hair color you most like someone you're dating to have?
Dark

If you had to be blind or deaf?
Neither for me, thanks!

Do you have any psychiatric problems?
Probably, I'm convinced everyone does.

Siblings that should go to rehab?
This question kinda confuses me... am suppose to carry the "Do you have" section down from the last question or what? I'll just go with no.

Least favorite month?
I'll go with March.

First movie you can remember seeing as a kid?
Either Star Wars or Song of the South or Robin Hood (disney version), clearly I don't remember very well.

Favorite person in the whole world?
This could get me in a lot of trouble so... I love all my peeps the same.

When's the last time you went on a date?
Sooo long ago.

Do you like violent movies or dirty movies?
Sure

Fall or spring?
Spring.

Person you most wish you hadn't made out with?
I'm not gonna name names but I'll give you a clue: I don't know his middle name.

If you are straight, what person of the same sex would you do it with?
Angelina Jolie

Where do you want to live when you are old and brittle?
Wherever life takes me - unless that's a scary, abusive nursing home.

Who is the person you can count on most?
Myself.

If you could date any celebrity past or present, time and age are not factors?
Frank Sinatra circa 1955.

What books have you pretended you've read?
Any book I was required to read in High School. These days I'll just flat out admit when I didn't read something.

What's a word you would use to describe your life?
Lifelike

Favorite drinking game?
Shot glass chess

What did you dream last night?
Don't remember.

Favorite bands?
The Beatles & Aerosmith.

Whoa! It's been a whole week since I blogged... what happened there?

Let me go out to the interweb and find something interesting to go on and on about.

I forgot what I was going to blog about...

Monday, January 12, 2004

For the new year I decided to restart my Sunday Afternoon Movie, which I seriously slacked off on in 2003. I thought I'd come up with some sort of rating system to let you all know what I think of a movie... but I haven't really done that yet so I'll just wing it! Yesterday's choice:

Chasing Liberty

Classification: Mindless Smile Inducer

On the MSI scale of 1-10, I'll give it a 6.

It lost 2 points just for that horrible outfit they stuck Mandy Moore in for the last half of the movie. But it gained 1 point back for multiple shirtless scenes containing Matthew Goode. As for the plot, it's a MSI which means the story is unrealistic with extra cheese.

I really hope they put Miss Lottery Liar in prison.

"I wanted to win so bad for my kids, my family."

News flash bitch: so does everyone else who plays the lottery!

I feel yoga is going to kick my ass today...

Ok, so the new Real World cast members were all much better looking on the actual show then in their pictures on MTV.com...

Tuesday, January 06, 2004

I'm only gonna comment on this insanity once - why can't we just let this woman rest in peace? It was a tragic accident!! Leave it alone. I love a conspiracy theory as much as anybody but I am 99.9% sure that neither Prince Charles or anyone else plotted to kill Diana. Stupid drunk driver speeding through tunnels followed by equally stupid paparazzi + unbuckled seatbelts + large cement barrier = super tragic deaths. Simple as that.

Top policeman to investigate Diana's death

Is it just me or is Mars the most boring planet ever? Where are all the martians?

Rover yields highest resolution pic ever taken of Mars

I can already see the FOX TV special about how this is all a scam, like the idiotic one they did about the moon landing.

So all this talk of the soon-to-be end of Sex and The City has given me an idea. It's not all that exciting... I'm just gonna list my SATC Top Ten Episodes: Seasons 1-5. Only seasons 1-5 because because I rely on DVD not wishing to pay $10+++ extra dollars a month for one extra channel. Anywho - I'll post it when I'm done.

Programming Note: And let's not forget about the 14th season of The Real World premiering tonight at 10. Looking at this cast is making me wonder if the world is running out of pretty people. It used to be that you could always count on at least 3 super hot roommates, usually 1 male and 2 female. But they seemed to have left out the hot guy this season. Damn you MTV!!

Real World - Season 14

Programming Note: I pretty much hate 9 out of every 10 "reality" shows but I'll admit that I was addicted to America's Next Top Model when it was first on. So it goes without saying that I'll probably be watching season 2 when it starts next Tuesday.

America's Next Top Model - Season 2

Somewhere out there in blog land earlier this week, I came across a mention of another blog and their 204 for 2004 list. I immediately seized on the idea of making such a long list of things to do in one year because I can't possibly fail at all of them... or can I?

Anywho - I'm not going to post my entire 204 for 2004 list but it includes the following catagories:

Education/Career Oriented
Financial
Physical
Creative
Family & Relationships
Materialistic
Miscellaneous

Need more info? I can only say that the list encompasses everything from finishing five paintings to buying kitchen tongs, taking a real vacation to taking a non-work-related class, moving to a new apartment to buying fresh flowers once a week.

And that's just 6 of 204!!!

Lucky for me, I've already finished one. Paying off my car. Did that on Friday. Woohoo! Only 203 more to go...

:-)
